Scenario

User is unable to add Other Relationship, such as Vendor, Partner and Other Name, from a Customer Record.

Solution

User already has Full Access Level to Customer records and need to save them as another type of Record (e.g. Vendor)

1. Navigate to Setup > User/Roles > Manage Roles
2. Custom Role: Click Edit
3. Click Permissions
   Note: For every required field use the drop-down menu to select it, once adjusted click Add.
4. Click Lists
   • Select Companies
     • Access Level: Select Edit
   • Select Vendor
     • Access Level: Select Create
5. Click Save

Note: To use the Other Relationships function, user must have at least Edit access to the primary Entity he is creating another relationship for. And Create access for the Entity that is to be added.
