Scenario

The User encountered an error when processing Asset Revaluation. Error: INVALID_DATA: Depreciation Rules must be specified.

Solution

Steps to Resolve:

1. Go to Fixed Asset > Lists > Assets
2. Edit the Asset
3. Go to General Tab
4. Set the following

Depreciation Active = False
Depreciation Rule = Acquisition
5. Click Save
6. Edit the Asset record again and set the Depreciation Active to True
7. Navigate to Fixed Asset > Setup > System Setup
8. Click Reset Asset Values and wait for the process to finish
9. Repeat the Asset Revaluation
