Resolve: "An Unexpected Error Occurred" When Viewing Project
SCENARIO
WhenAdvanced Project Profitabilityfeature is enabled, customer gets an unexpected error when viewing/editing projects and project list.
SOLUTION
A possible reason of the unexpected error is missing configuration in the Project Profitability setup which might be deleted by a user.By default, a standard configuration is added whenAdvanced Project Profitabilityfeature is enabled. To resolve the error, user can do either of the following:
- Re-toggle theAdvanced Project Profitabilityfeature to retrieve the standard configuration:
- Navigate toSetup > Company > Enable Features
- ClickCompany
- Advanced Project Profitability: EnterCheckmark
- ClickSave
Note:This will automatically retrieve the standard configuration in the Project Profitability setup page
- Create a new configuration:
- Navigate toSetup > Accounting > Project Profitability
- ClickConfigurations
- ClickNew
- Define all settings as needed
- ClickFinish
Note:After saving, user will be redirected to Project Profitability Setup page - P&L Default:select the created configuration
- ClickSubmit
Resolve Error: "Invalid Reference Key XXX Accounts Payable for Subsidiary X" on Purchase Order CSV Import
When uploading a Purchase Order via CSV Import and the errorInvalid Reference Key XXX Accounts Payable for Subsidiary Xis encountered, this is because the Accounts Payable used is not available on the User Interface. This is usually populated by an Asset or an Expense account. Field mapping as follows:
Project Management > Charge-Based Billing > Charges Not Available on Invoice Billable Customers pagenagement > Charge-Based Billing > Charges Not Available on Invoice Billable Customers page
When the user is trying to invoice customers for Charged-Based Billing Projects, some of the Charges are not available when navigating to Transactions > Customers > Invoice Billable Customers.
Update Hold Field on Customer Record in Bulk Via CSV Import
Scenario
Use CSV Import to update Hold field on the Customer record.
Solution
- Create a CSV File with the Internal ID of the Customers to be updated
- Navigate toSetup>Import/Export>Import CSV Records
- Scan & Upload CSV File:
- Import Type:SelectRelationships
- Record Type:SelectCustomers Only
- Select the CSV File
- ClickNext
- Import Options:
- Data Handling:SelectUpdate

Unable to See the Global Subscription Status Field in Entity Record in a Standard Form
Scenario
The Global Subscription Status field is not available when the marketing automation feature is disabled. Users would therefore need to enable the feature.
Solution
- Navigate toSetup>Company>Enable Features
- ClickCRM
- Marketing Automation: Check the checkbox
- ClickI Agree
- ClickSave
To default the Global Subscription Status field to Soft Opt-In for new entities, perform the following steps:
- Navigate toSetup>Marketing>Marketing Preferences
- Unsubscribed to Marketing By Default: Remove theCheckmark
- ClickSave
