Create a Custom Administrator Role That Does Not Have Any Access to Financial Data

Scenario

User wants to utilize anAdministratorrole thatdoes not have any access to their financial data.

Solution

It would be advisable for users to setup the said role from scratch. However, if the user wants a working template, they can use theSystem Administrator roleas a template that they can modify. Note that user needs to removetheBulk Manage Rolespermission to prevent the the new role from adding unwanted permissions to itself.
  1. Login asAdministrator
  2. NavigatetoSetup>Users/Roles>Manage Roles
  3. System Administrator:ClickCustomize
  4. ClickPermissions
  5. ClickSetup
  6. Permissions:
    1. ClickBulk Manage Roles
    2. ClickRemove
  7. ClickSave
Note:From here, permissions to the role can be added or removed as needed.
