CSV Import Error: A Saved Search with Internal ID xxx Does Not Exist

Scenario

The error "A saved search with the internal id xx does not exist" when running a CSV import is triggered by a custom field on the form that pulls its value from the result(s) of a saved search.

Solution

The error appears when either of the following conditions is met:

  • The saved search is inactive or no longer exists.
  • The saved search is set to private and the user running the CSV import does not belong to the search's audience.

To get passed the error, the administrator needs to ensure that:

  1. The Saved Search is Active; and
  2. The user has Access to the Saved Search (either the saved search is set to Public or the user belongs to the audience.
