Mandatory Name Field on Entity Bank Details Record

Scenario

Since versionElectronic Bank Payments 2018.2 there were implemented several changes, one of which is the added mandatoryNamefield on theEntity Bank Detailsform and the ability to process payments usingSecondaryBank Accounts.

Solution

When users attempts to processCustomer/Vendorpayments viaAccept Customer Payments/Pay Single Vendorpage, underEFTsubtab, the following fields are added:
  • Preferred Entity Bank Details
  • Entity Bank Details
The value which appears on thePreferred Entity Bank Detailsdropdown would be theNamefield added on theEntity Bank Detailsrecord. ForEntity Bank Detailscreated prior to the upgrade, theInternal IDof theEntity Bank Detailappears on the list. Once user selected the Entity Bank DetailName on the dropdown, its detail will load on the Entity Bank Details field.
