Missing Items when Receiving Purchase Orders

Scenario

When trying to receive purchase orders, some or all of the line items may not appear on the item receipt form.

Solution

The following scenarios could be the reason why the Item Receipt excludes certain line items:

  1. There is an associatedInbound Shipmenton the Line Item. On the Purchase Order, theQuantity On ShipmentsColumn will show a value indicating that there are quantities placed on Inbound Shipment records. The user should create the Item Receipt from the Inbound Shipment record.

  2. The Line Item is aNon-inventory Item,Service Item, orOther Charge Itemwhere theCan be Fulfilled/ReceivedPreference is set toFalse.

  3. The Line Item is marked asClosed.

  4. The Line Item is already received.
