SECTION 2 - ACCOUNT SETUP AND MAINTENANCE

- SuiteSignOn support ended for non-production accounts (e.g., Sandboxes) in NetSuite 2024.1 and will end for production accounts in NetSuite 2025.1.
Transition to NetSuite as OIDC Provider
- Users are encouraged to switch to the NetSuite as OIDC Provider feature as a replacement for SuiteSignOn. Proactive notifications will be provided to assist with this transition before NetSuite 2025.1.
SECTION 4 - BANKING
Australia Bank Feeds Enhancements
Australia Bank Feeds now supports both OneWorld and non-OneWorld accounts. However, the SuiteApp is not compatible with Jcurve ERP.
- Bank accounts can now be linked to GL accounts of type Credit Card with a currency of AUD.
- You now have the option to receive or not receive an email notification for every bank data import. Previously, an email notification was automatically sent every two hours from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM AEST.
- A business disclosure agreement is now available as a new method to import bank data. This method is especially useful if you do not want to avail of services from a trusted adviser.
- You can now remove bank accounts from your bank feeds and exclude them from any bank data import.
SECTION 5 - CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (CRM)
View Key Customer Information about the New NetSuite Customer 360 Page
- NetSuite Customer 360: Offers a comprehensive view of the customer, including financial information, transaction history, and other related data. It is accessible via the "View Customer 360" link from the customer record or the "Switch to Customer 360 View" link from the customer dashboard.
Ability to Restrict Access to External Case Response Page in CRM
- Restrict Access to External Case Response Page: A new security preference to enable or disable customer access to the External Case Response Page.
- This preference is cleared by default and is available only when the Customer Support and Service feature is enabled in the account.
Change in Responding to Customer Messages in Case Management
- The Receive Customer Replies in Case List Only preference in Case Management has been renamed to Prevent Support Reps from Receiving Customer Replies by Email.
- This preference determines whether the support rep assigned to a case can receive email copies of customer replies.
- This release does not change the current state of the preference in the account.
Change to Which Users Can Create Events on a Calendar
- As of 2024.2, users can create events only on their own calendars. However, they can manage events on others' calendars if permission is granted by the calendar owner. Only group members can create events for that group.
Text Enhance Clean-Up Action Added to More Fields in NetSuite
- The Clean-Up action of Text Enhance has been added to nearly 200 fields in NetSuite.
SECTION 6 - INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Review Item Line/Inventory Detail Quantity Mismatch Task
- In NetSuite 2024.2, a new task in the Period Close checklist identifies inventory posting transactions with discrepancies between item line quantities and associated inventory detail. Users can review these transactions and resolve any mismatches. This task must be completed before moving on to the next step, Review Negative Inventory.
- This is targeted to be available by the third quarter of 2024.
Warehouse Management
- NetSuite 2024.2 allows you to view the time in date fields on wave transactions, such as Created Date, Released Date, and Completed Date.
- The time displayed follows your Time Zone and Time Format preferences.
- The Wave saved search now includes a Printed Pick Ticket filtering criterion, allowing you to filter waves based on whether they have printed pick tickets or not.
- Cycle Count Updates: With the new Generate from Plan mobile process, users can now create inventory counts from a cycle count plan directly on the app, with the option to create counts for up to ten items at a time.
- Scheduling Bin Replenishment: Users can now create and run schedules for bin replenishment on the NetSuite UI. Users can specify the frequency, start time, and end time for the schedules, and receive notifications for their success or failure. The bin replenishment tasks generated from these schedules become available for processing on the app.
- Lot Autonumbering for Work Order Assembly: This feature allows users to automatically generate lot numbers for work orders during the assembly build process on the mobile app. It is activated by enabling the Autogenerate Lot Numbers? rule for the relevant lot item.
- Bar Code Scanning for Bulk Serial Numbers: The Scan Bar Codes With Bulk Serial Numbers? rule allows you to scan an item bar code that contains up to 50 serial numbers. This means that when receiving a purchase order, you can scan the serialized item bar code without having to enter or scan each serial number individually. On the corresponding item receipt, you can then review the serial numbers of the received item.
- Changing Bins During Order Picking: This feature allows users to pick partial quantities of an item from different bins during order picking. This applies to both sales and transfer orders. Users can enter the quantity they want to pick from the first bin and then select another bin to pick from.
Supply Planning
- Supply Planning Workbench
- Remove Supply Order from Repository: Transactions can now be excluded from the repository without a system refresh. The 2024.2 enhancement enables you to open the transaction record and check the new Exclude from Supply Planning box to remove the transaction from the most current planning repository version.
- Combine Minimum Order Quantity with Lot Sizing Options: This enhancement enables customers to pair Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) with any lot sizing option. Customers who use MOQ will be migrated to a combination of their MOQ and a lot sizing method of lot for lot. Customers who use MOQ will have their setup changed to use the lot sizing option with the limit of their current MOQ.
- Planning Workbench Filter Action Messages for Firm Supply Orders: New filters for firm and un-firm orders are available. The following filters will be available in the workbench to help distinguish between these different action types: Cancel Firm, Lead Time Threshold, Reschedule In, Reschedule In Firm, Reschedule Out, Reschedule Out Firm, and Lead Time Fence Threshold.

- The default filtering for the Automatic Get Network Status MR script is updated to include transactions with Network Status Updated On value. The script execution occurs the day before the current date instead of the transaction date.
- Now supports sending email messages on MR script execution and inbound web service errors to more than 10 administrators when the Recipient of E-document Notifications field is blank. The email messages are sent in batches of 10 active administrators at a time.
Electronic Invoicing SuiteApp (Version 9.06.0)

- Check the Support Transaction Response box in the Subsidiary preference.
- Assign an e-document transaction response template.
- Assign an e-document transaction response sending method to the required subsidiaries.
- Transaction responses are created or sent as follows:
- An Acknowledged transaction response is created when the inbound record or e-document is in the For Conversion status.
