Scenario

Print the Inventory Detail column on the Packing Slip using the Source Code View.

Solution

  • Create a new Advanced PDF/HTML Template
      1. Navigate toCustomization>Forms>Advanced PDF/HTML Template
      2. FindStandard Packing Slip
      3. ClickCustomize
      4. Toggle onSource Code
        • Note:Upon enabling there will be a Warning displayed.
      5. ClickYes
      6. Find:
        <table class="itemtable" style="width: 100%; margin-top: 10px;">
      7. Before </tr>add:
        <th align="left" colspan="5">Inventory Detail</th>
      8. Find:
        <#list salesorder.item as tranline><tr>
      9. Before </tr>add:
        <td align="left" colspan="5">${tranline.inventorydetail}</td>
      10. ClickSave
  • Set the Packing Slip Template to the newly created form
    1. Navigate toCustomization>Forms>Transaction Forms
    2. FindStandard Packing Slip
    3. ClickCustomize
    4. Name:EnterCustom Packing Slip
    5. Printing Type:SelectAdvanced
    6. Print Template:Select the Advanced PDF/HTML Template created from Step 1
    7. Form is Preferred:EnterCheckmark
    8. ClickSave
