In the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) portlet, when drilling down values under Current and Previous columns, a user may encounter the following error:
'The accounting period range null has not been defined. Please visit 'Setup > Accounting > Manage Accounting Periods' to define this period or set up your year.'
This is encountered when the period compared is 'This Month to Date'. This may be resolved by doing the following:
1. Go to Home > Set Preferences
2. Go to Analytics tab
3. Change Report By Period to Never
4. Click Save
The error is encountered as the Date filter is set in terms of Periods while the values to compare falls on a specific Date.
