CSV Import > Reorder Point and Preferred Stock Level

Scenario:

The Import Job Status Page says “All records imported successfully”. But the Preferred Stock Level and Reorder Point were not updated on the Item Record.

Solution:

This will occur if Auto-Calculate Preferred Stock Level and Auto-Calculate Reorder Point were not set to No on CSV Import.

1. Create a CSV Template with the following

Item Internal ID
Location
Preferred Stock Level
Reorder Point
Auto-Calculate Preferred Stock Level

-------This column should be set to No
Auto-Calculate Reorder Point

-------This column should be set to No

2. Update the Preferred Stock Level and Reorder Point through CSV Import

Navigate to Setup > Import/Export > Import CSV Records
Select Items on Import Type
Select the Record Type
Select the file.
Click Next
Select Update on Data Handling
Click Next

3. Map the fields:

Internal ID = Item : Internal ID
Preferred Stock Level = Item Location 1 : Preferred Stock Level
Location = Item Locations 1 : Location
Reorder Point = Item Locations 1 : Reorder Point
Auto-Calculate Preferred Stock Level

Auto-Calculate Reorder Point

-------This column should be set to No

4. Type the Import Map Name

5. Click Save & Run
