Scenario
User needs to update the contact role of their existing record however unable to find any contact role field on the customer record even when on Edit mode.
Solution
In order to update a contact's role in a customer record, user can take the following steps:
- View Customer Record
- Navigate to Relationships tab > Contacts subtab
- Click Update Primary button
Note: Update Primary pop-up window will appear which lists all contacts and their corresponding roles associated to the customer record. - Click Edit button
- Locate the Contact
- Under Role, select Primary Contact
- Click Save
