Scenario
User would like to know how to link a support case to their sales orders.
Solution
Users can link support cases to seven transaction types including the following:
- Quote
- Sales Order
- Invoices
- Cash Sale
- Purchase Order
- Opportunity
- Work Order
To link a support case to a transaction:
- Open the support case record.
- Click the Related Records subtab.
- Click New on the Transactions subtab to create a new linked transaction.
Note: Users can also click Attach to link an existing transaction to the support case.
