Advanced Taxes = False (Non-OneWorld / International Edition) > Lists > Accounting > Items > New > Source of Purchase Tax Code field value

When creating new Item record of any type in an International Edition Account, the user noticed that Purchase Tax Code field has a Tax Item and wonders where does NetSuite get the value for it.

 

The value of the Purchase Tax Code field in a new item record is sourced from the Default Tax Code field in Setup > Accounting > Set Up Taxes.
