Item Saved Search Shows Last Transaction and Sales Price Set on Items

Scenario

User would like to create a saved search that will return the last Transaction and Sales Price set for each item record.

Solution

Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New
Select Item
Search Title: Enter Title
Click Criteria
Click Standard
Field:
Note: For every required field use the drop-down menu to select it and once adjusted click Add if needed.

Select Transaction Fields...

Transaction Filter: Select Type
Select the following:

Invoice
Cash Sale

Click Set

Select System Notes Fields...

Select Type
Select Create
Click Set

Select Type

Select Inventory Item
Click Set

Click Results

Click Columns

Click Remove All

Fields:

Select Name

Summary Type: Select Group

Select Transaction Fields...

Transaction Field: Select Document Number

Summary Type: Select Maximum
When Ordered By Field: Select Transaction Fields...

Select Date Created

Summary Label: Enter Transaction Number

Select Transaction Fields...

Select Date Created

Summary Type: Select Maximum
When Ordered By Field: Select Transaction Fields...

Select Date Created

Summary Label: Enter Last Transaction Date

Select Transaction Fields...

Select Item Rate

Summary Type: Select Maximum
When Ordered By Field: Select Transaction Fields...

Select Date Created

Summary Label: Enter Unit Price
