Scenario
User is using SuiteApprovals for Journal Entry and created a new Approval Rule with a Saved Search Condition.
The user noticed that there are some Journal Entries that displays "No records to show." under the Approval History tab despite having met the criteria of the Saved Search Condition set on the new Approval Rule.
Solution
The Approval Rules apply only on Transactions that meet the criteria of the Saved Search Condition and have a Transaction Date that is within the Start Date and End Date of the Approval Rule.To check the Start Date and End Date of the Approval Rules, perform the steps below:
- Navigate to Setup > Approval Process Manager > Approval List
- Approval Rule: Click View
- Start Date: Take Note
- End Date: Take Note
