Hide the Items from the Side Navigation for Site Builder Websites

Certain businesses do not require their users to see the list of items on the side navigation panel of their Site Builder websites.

Solution

To hide this portion of the website:

1. Ensure that the Advanced Site Customization feature is enabled in the account by navigating to: Setup > Company > Enable Features > Web Presence > Web Site > Advanced Site Customization = T
2. Navigate to Commerce > Websites > Website List (select website) > Appearance > Navigation Portlet (section)
3. Enable the Show Navigation Portlet preference
4. Navigate to Commerce > Site Builder > Themes > Edit/Customize Website Theme
5. On the Sidebars tab, disable the Navigation Show Items option
6. Save
