File Drag and Drop > Error: "Upload failed. Make sure you have the required permission..."

User uploads a file in an Item record.
Error: "Upload failed. Make sure you have the required permission to upload to this folder."

1. Navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles
   Note: Login as Administrator
2. Custom Role: Click Edit
3. Click Permissions tab
4. Click Lists subtab
5. Permission: Select Items
   1. Level: Select Edit
   2. Click Add
6. Click Save
   Note: The role must have a minimum of Edit permission in order to upload files using file drag and drop. This is a standard behavior in NetSuite as the file will be connected to the record.
