Scenario
User is merging two Customer records. Customer A is to be merge into Customer B. On Customer B record's Merge Into field, Customer A can be populated but not the other way around.
- Navigate to Lists > Relationships > Customers
- Customer B: Click Edit
- Click Merge
- Merge Into field: Look for Customer A
Note: On actual result, Customer A is listed. If the other way around, Customer B is not listed. Customer B should be listed as it is a valid duplicate record that can be merged
Solution
- Navigate to Lists > Relationships > Customers
- Customer B: Click Edit
- Name: Update Name
Note: Example, Customer B2. - Click Save
- Customer B2: Click Edit
- Name: Update Name
Note: Change it back to Customer B. - Click Save
