User wants to filter the Budget Report by custom Date range and not by Accounting Period.
If we set the Report by Period to Never under Home > Set Preferences > Analytics tab, the amount of Budget on the Budget Report is zero because Budgets are set up per Accounting Period, and not on a daily basis.
If users want to see the Budget for more than 1 Accounting Period, the Report by Period must be set to Financials Only, then set the From and To filters on the Budget Report. However, this will show the total for all Accounting Periods covered, and we cannot set the specific Dates. Since Budgets are created on a per Accounting Period basis, the budget of each month is taken as a whole as NetSuite does not have the ability to prorate the amounts based on a custom date range.
