Scenario
Create a Saved Search to send an email of Sales Orders when they change Status from Pending Fulfillment to Pending Billing.
Solution
- Navigate to Reports > Saved Searches > All Saved Searches > New
- Click Transaction
- Search Title: Enter Title
- Click Criteria
- Click Standard
- Filter:
- Select Type
- Type: Select any of
- Box to the right: Select Sales Order
- Click Set
- Select Status
- Status: Select any of
- Box to the right: Select Sales Order:Pending Billing
- Click Set
- Select Main Line
- Main Line System Notes Filter: Select Yes
- Click Set
- Select System Notes Fields...
- System Notes Filter: Select Field
- Field: Select any off
- Box to the right: Select any off
- Click Set
- Select System Notes Fields...
- System Notes Filter: Select Type
- Type: Select Change
- Click Set
- Select Custom Form
- Custom Form: Select any off
- Box to the right: Select custom form used in transaction
- Click Set
- Click Result
- Click Columns

Note: For every required field use the drop-down menu to select it, once adjusted click Add.- Select Date
- Select Name
- Select Transaction Number
- Select Amount
- Select Memo
- Click Email
- Send email alerts when records are created/updated: Enter checkmark
- Click Specific Recipients
- Recipient: Enter email
- Send on update: Enter Checkmark
- Click Add
- Click Update Fields
- Fields: Select Document Status
- Click Add
- Click Save & Run
