The Annual Leave Cash Out in Service pay component is used when paying out Annual Leaves to employees. When using this component, it is expected that the leave balances should be reduced by the hours taken. However, this is not being deducted in the leave balances on the JCurve Payroll.
When it comes to the JCurve payroll there is currently no option to link any other leave type code to the leave accrual for the system to then generate a leave history record that in turn reduces the leave balance field like it does with the standard AL/PL/LSL leave types.
As a workaround, the customer will need to continue creating a manual leave history record when they transact a cash-out in service amount.
Another option is to use the Annual Leave taken code to pay out the leave which would reduce the balance as its hard coded to do so in the back end system.
