Tasks can be used either to remind yourself of an action to follow up, or to assign to other staff to action.
There are several ways to create a new task:
Creating the task directly from your Create New Menu:
1. Go to Create New Menu:
2. Select Task.
From a customer record:
1. Go to Create New drop down.
2. Select Task.
Or alternatively:
3. Go to General.
4. Go to Activities subtab.
5. Click the New Task button.
- Enter a Title for your task.
- Select the Assigned To person, which can be yourself, or another employee.
- Enter a Due Date.
- If you want to set a reminder, you will need to tick Reserve Time.
- Select a start and end time.
- Select the type of reminder – to be emailed to you, or to pop up within JCurve.
- Select the number of minutes before your start time, to send the reminder. Note: Do not leave this as none, otherwise the reminder will not send.
- Enter your reminder text.
- Click Save.
