To set up basic KPIs:
1. If you don’t already have the KPI portlet on your dashboard, click the Personalise Dashboard link
2. Select the Key Performance Indicators option from the Add Content tool box
3. The Key Performance Indicators portlet will appear on your dashboard. Click the drop down arrow and select Set Up

1.Use the Add Standard KPIs or Add Custom KPIs buttons to add the types of data you would like to measure. If you have custom saved search results you would like to measure, the relative saved search will appear in the Custom KPIs
2. As you add your data, a new line will be added here for each type
3. Use Range to set the initial measurement period, e.g. today, this month, etc
4. If comparing your KPI measurement to previous results, use the Compare Range, e.g. to compare to the same day a month ago, or last month’s results, etc
5. Click Save
