There may be a situation where a custom role cannot view a customer's transaction history.
An Administrator or a user with the Full Access role can provide other roles with access to transaction histories by customizing their role to include the Financial History permission.
How to add the Financial History permission:
- Go to Setup -> Users/Roles -> Manage Roles.
- Click Customise next to the name of the role you want to customise.
- On the Permissions subtab, click the Lists subtab.
- In the Permission column, select Financial History.
- In the Level column, select permission of choice (View, Create, Edit or Full).
- Click Add.
- Click Save.
Note: If you want to restrict roles viewing transaction history of customers.
- Click Customise next to the name of the role you want to customise.
- On the Permissions subtab, click the Lists subtab.
- In the Permission column, select Financial History. Remove this permission.
