When you enable the Multi-Partner Management feature, NetSuite makes the mass updates functionality available for partner information.
The following updates are useful when you want to add new and modify existing partner information:
Add Partner – This update adds multiple partners to customers. Partners are added with a 0% contribution percentage, but you can manually change the percentage as needed.
Remove Partner – This update removes a partner from a customer or sales transaction.
The partner contribution percentage must be set to 0% to perform this update.
Replace Partner – This update replaces an existing partner with another partner. NetSuite gives the partner the same contribution percentage as the partner being replaced.
When you perform this update, first select the partner you are replacing from the Replace Partner list. This filters the search results to show only those customers who include the partner being replaced.
Only an administrator or user role with the following permissions can perform a mass update:
- Customers (Edit)
- Mass Update (Edit)
- Perform Search (View)
To Mass Update Partners
Ensure that the 'Multi-Partner Management' feature is enabled via Setup > Company > Enable Feature.
Go to Lists > Mass Update > Mass Updates.
Expand Sales Force Automation.
Select the required partner mass update option.
Complete the mass update fields and criteria.
- Click the Preview button and execute once finalized.
