Active Project Does Not Show Up on the Journal Entry Line Project Field

Scenario

1. Go to Transactions > Financial > Make Journal Entry

2. Journal entry line:

   • Enter the Project Name

   • Search Project Name on the Project drop-down field

3. No results found

Solution

The actual Project Name should coincide with the Project Name used in the search.

1. Go to Lists > Relationships > Projects

2. Click View on the Project Name

3. Ensure that the Name field has no extra space/s at the beginning or add the space when searching for the Project on the Project drop-down field

NOTE: This also applies to other Classifications on the Journal Entry Line.
