Scenario
User wants to set the Item Sublist columns mandatory to ensure that important information are set on the record (e.g., the Class field).
Solution
User may set the Class Field to mandatory by ticking the Make Classes Mandatory field on Setup > Accounting > Accounting Preferences > General tab. This can also be done via SuiteScript.
Note: The scenario is similar if the field which should be set to mandatory is that of the Department or the Location.
