Scenario
The manufacturing subtab is not showing in the list of subtabs when trying to customize an Assembly Item Form or Standard Group Item Form.
Solution
The Manufacturing subtab belongs to the feature and is only available to be moved and customized if it is enabled.
However, the Manufacturing subtab appears if the user has enabled either Manufacturing Routing and Work Center as well as Advanced Bill of Materials.
If the user has the Manufacturing Work in Process module, the user enables Manufacturing Routing and Work Center to have the Manufacturing subtab available when editing the Assembly Item Form.
To Enable the feature:
- Navigate to Setup > Company > Enable Features
- Items & Inventory subtab
- Enable Manufacturing Work In Process and Manufacturing Routing and Work Center
After enabling the feature, the user is able to move or edit the Manufacturing subtab in the Assembly Item Form. The user has the option to disable the Manufacturing Routing and Work Center feature after.
