Customer who logged in with a Custom Sales Role is unable to see any information under the Transactions sub-tab under the Customer record > Sales tab. Customer is able to view those transactions when they navigate to the Customer record dashboard. Verified that role has the Financial History permission, and verified that role is able to access transactions.

Make sure that the View on the Transaction sub-tab is set to Default and not any other views.
