If you face a situation where you are unable to save emails to NetSuite because the Pane/Sidebar is missing, follow the instructions below:
1. Close the Outlook application.
2. Right-click the NetSuite for Outlook icon and select Exit.
3. Click the Windows Start button and select Computer.
4. Navigate to C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Celigo\NetSuite for Outlook
Note: Path may vary slightly on some system setups.
5. Right-click the settings.dat file and select Rename.
6. Rename the file file to any name. E.g. settings.dat.OLD
7. Re-launch Outlook and verify if the NetSuite for Outlook pane/sidebar is now available on emails. If the issue still persists, proceed to next steps.
8. Close the Outlook application.
9. Right-click the NetSuite for Outlook icon and select Exit.
10. Click the Windows Start button and select Computer.
11. Navigate to C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Celigo\NetSuite for Outlook
12. Right-click the Metadata file and select Rename.
13. Rename the file to any name. E.g. Metadata.OLD
14. Re-launch Outlook and wait for the NetSuite for Outlook Configuration window to load up.
15. Enter NetSuite account credentials and follow the configuration wizard.
