Move a Sublist from Custom Tab to Purchasing/Inventory Tab

Solution

When assigning a sublist to show from Custom to Purchasing/Inventory tab, it won't show until you set it first to Communication tab. To move the sublist to the Purchasing/Inventory tab, users can follow these steps:

1. Set the custom sublist tab to Communication

1. Navigate to Customization > Form > Sublists
2. Click on Item Subtab.
3. Edit the Tab for your saved search. Set it to Communication instead of Purchasing/Inventory

2. Move Elements Between Subtabs in Item Form

1. Navigate to a Kit/Package item record in Edit mode.
2. Hover on the Customize link on the upper right side of the form.
3. Click Customize Form.
4. Click Move Elements Between Subtabs.
5. Click the Lists tab.
6. Click Communication subtab.
7. Look for you sublist and set the subtab to Purchasing/Inventory.
8. Save.

Upon viewing a Kit/Package Item Record, it must now show as a Sublist beside the Components.
