Novated lease pre and post tax pay components

Create both Novated lease pre and post tax Pay component. To do so

Navigate to:

JCurve Payroll =>  Payroll setup =>  Pay Component Sub Type =>  New

2) Name: Novated lease pre tax
3) Pay Component Type: Salary Sacrifice
4) Pay Component Category: Salary Sacrifice
5) Payment Summary Location: We have selected Reportable FBT ( for that one you would need to consult with accountant what location the novated applies on)
6) Save




Now, for Novated post Tax : 

1) Name:  Novated lease post tax
3) Pay Component Type: Deduction
4) Pay Component Category: Deduction
5) Payment Summary Location: Reportable FBT
6) Save





Go to employee record and add both components that you have created. 

See below :



1) Create Salary Sacrifice
2) Pay Components Sub Tax -- > novated lease pre tax
3) Amount --> $150 ( The amount you would like in pre tax)
4) Save

Repeat the same for novated lease post tax by selecting Create Deduction.
