Conditions:
1. Advanced Receiving = feature is enabled
2. Employee/Requestor selected has a Supervisor
3. Purchase Order Status = Pending Approval
Even when To Be Emailed is checked by the requestor, but conditions above are met, upon saving the record, the To Be Emailed checkbox is still marked. The email is also suppressed and not sent.
When the Supervisor edits/approves the Purchase Order, since the To Be Emailed box is still checked ,the emails are then sent out upon saving/approving. Thus showing the Author of the email as the Approver and the timestamp of the sent email is when it was approved.
This is standard behavior. Since the Purchase Order details are not finalized and is pending approval, it is logical not to trigger any emails yet.
