CSV Import > Journal Entry > Status should be "Pending Approval"

Scenario

When importing journal entries using a role with the Journal Approval Permission set to FULL, the Journal Entries will automatically be approved in status. 

Solution

To prevent this,

1. Navigate to Transactions > Financial > Make Journal Entries > Import

2. Upload you file

3. On the mapping page, add the Approved and set the value to NO
