Unable to Complete Task > Error: "'Prerequisite: Previous Period Open' even the prior period is closed"

Scenario

Unable to proceed completing period close checklist and proceed closing periods because of notice : 

" Prerequisite: Previous Period Open" even the prior period is Closed.

Solution

Check if there are other fiscal calendars and the periods are still open or have been re-opened.

1. Navigate to Setup > Accounting > Manage Accounting Period
2. Expand the Filter section at the top of the Manage Accounting Periods page
3. In the Fiscal Year Calendar field > check other Fiscal Calendar
4. Run/ Complete task for this period and proceed to closing
5. Go back to Standard Fiscal Calendar then proceed to completing tasks and closing period.

Note : This is only applicable when the Multiple Calendars feature  is enabled.  This feature is available only for NetSuite OneWorld and by default, is not enabled.
