Item Custom Segment not auto-populating on Transaction line

Scenario:

A custom segment is created and has been setup to display on Item records and Transaction line item. 

Solution:

1. Edit the Custom Segment under Customization > Lists, Records & Fields > Custom Segments

2. Under Application & Sourcing tab > Transaction Columns sub-tab, Source List dropdown, Choose Item (Item) 

3. Save
