Add Tax Field on Printed Invoice Record Using Basic PDF Layouts

Scenario

There is a requirement to print the Tax Total on Invoice Record using Basic Printing

Solution

I. Customize the Transaction Form

1. Navigate to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms
2. Click Edit beside the preferred Transaction Form
   • • Click Printing Fields
     • Tax: Enter checkmark
     • Total: Remove checkmark
3. Click Save.

NOTE: When the Total checkbox is unchecked the Subtotal checkbox will be automatically unchecked as well. 

II. Customize the Transaction Form PDF Layout

1. Navigate to Customization > Forms > Transaction Form PDF Layouts
2. Click Edit beside the preferred Transaction Form PDF Layout
3. Click Add Custom Element
4. Choose Elements(s): 
   • • Select Tax Total
     • Select Subtotal 
     • Select Total
5. Click OK
6. Click Save
