Quantity is not being committed on a sales order
Solution
Here are the list of common reasons why quantity is not being committed on a sales order
- Perform Item Commitment after Transaction Entry preference is not enabled
- Location column on the item line is blank
- Commit column in the item line is set to Do Not Commit
- There is a Special Order Purchase Order or Special Order Work Order is linked to the item
- The Item doesn't have enough available quantity on the selected Location in the Sales Order
- The Make Inventory Available is not checked on the Location record
- Cross Subsidiary Fulfillment is enabled in the Sales Order transaction and Inventory Location column in the item line is not populated
