Transaction Saved Search With Sum/Count Function Does Not Return Correct Results

Scenario

There are instances wherein the transaction saved search with the Sum/Count Function in the Results does not return correct results. 

Solution

When using SUM or COUNT Summary Types in the Result subtab of a Transaction Saved Search and Show Totals = True, users should avoid using join fields in the Criteria subtab as this may result in incorrect results of the Saved Search. 

Note : This matter is caused by the Criteria set by the saved search. There are too many results, which ends up as incorrect results in the Summary Level. Currently there is no Alternate Solution and it is encouraged to avoid using the constellation of functions mentioned above.
