Include CRM Tasks in Project Totals Results to Unexpected Error on Project and Project Task Edit

Scenario

Unexpected error is received when saving updates made on the Project and Project Task record associated to Task. The Include CRM Tasks in Project Totals preference on Project record is enabled. There is a CRM Task associated to Project that have total actual time equal to or exceeding 10,000% of current time budget (or initial time budget in case there is no value on current time budget).

Solution

1. Navigate to Lists > Relationships > Job/Project
2. Click View on the Project record
3. Click Communication tab
4. Click Activities subtab
5. Click Edit on the Task that have total actual time equal to or exceeding 10,000% of current time budget (or initial time budget in case there is no value on current time budget)
   Note: On system design, the value computed on Percent Time Complete field on Task record should not exceed 10,000%. The Percent Time Complete field is automatically calculated by the system by dividing Actual Time by Current Time Budget (or by Initial Time Budget, if no Current Time Budget has been entered).
6. Click Time Tracking tab
7. Current Time Budget: Enter larger value that results to Percent Time Complete field to be less than 10,000%
8. Click Save
