Change Subject of Invoice Email – JCurve Solutions

Scenario

User want to change the Subject of the Email when sending out Invoices, via the To Be Emailed checkbox.

Solution

The Subject for emailed Transactions (e.g Sales Order, Invoice etc.) using "To Be E-mailed" is defaulting to "Company Name: Form Title {number}". The Company Name and the Form Title is sourced in the Transaction Form, Customize > Customize Form > Printing Fields subtab > Header sublist:

Company Name
Form Title

Note: Printing Fields subtab will only show if the Printing Type is Basic on the Transaction Form

Users can rename the Company Name field and Form Title by customizing the Transaction Form, which will only change the Email Subject when using the To Be E-mailed function. More information regarding this can be found in the following articles:

If users would like to send emails via the Transaction (e.g open Sales Order, Invoice etc.) > Communication tab > Email button > Message tab, the subject Company Name is sourced from Setup > Company > Company Information details.
