Avoid Receiving of Multiple Emails from a Saved Search

 Make sure that the following fields are set as follows:

• Saved Search > Email subtab :
  
  • Uncheck the Send Email Alerts When Records are Created/Updated field
  • Check the Send Email According to Schedule field
