Status of Fully Billed Sales Order Shows as Partially Fulfilled Even Item Fulfillment is Not Yet Created
1. Open the Sales Order in question and check if there are Items on the Sales Order that are Non-Inventory Items.
2. Open each item’s Item record and check under the Preferences tab if the box for Can be Fulfilled/Received is not checked. If this is not checked, this means that this Item does not require being received and fulfilled.
3. Navigate back to the Sales Order and check under Related Records tab if the related transaction has a Type = Invoice, Link Type = Receipt/Fulfillment. This means that the Invoice serves as both the Fulfillment and the Bill for the Non-Inventory Item and the specific Item will not be available in the Item Fulfillment.
If the other line items are not yet fulfilled, the Status of the Sales Order will then be automatically set to Partially Fulfilled.
