Scenario
User would like to add custom search and the links added on a custom center category under custom tab.
Solution
1. Navigate via Customization > Centers and Tabs > Center Tabs.
2. Edit your custom tab.
3. Under Content tab > Portlets subtab, on Type column, add the following:
- Links
- Custom Search
- Settings
Note: You may add multiple similar types depends on the requirements.
4. Click Save.
If you added "Links" on the Portlets > Type, then this will show your center category's links.
As for the custom search portlet, click Setup link to pull out your saved searches.
You may pull up the name of your search on Search field and assign a custom title for this portlet.

This shows a sample setup of a custom center tab, with custom searches and links inside.
