User views the Inbound Shipment record via custom record, and notice that the Take Ownership button is not available. No Ownership Transfer record is created yet.
Note: If this is not reproducible using an Administrator role, it is possible that an Ownership Transfer record permission is not set to the custom role.
- Log in using the Administrator Role
- Go to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles >
- Click Edit

- Click Permissions
- Click Transactions
- Permission column:
- Add Ownership Transfer
- Level column: Select Create
Note: You can select the desired permission level (View/Edit/Full)
- Click Add
- Click Save
