Administrator View-Only Role

Scenario

The default list of roles does not include a role with Administrator with VIEW only access.

Solution

Users need to install Bundle 9311 > Roles: Admin Access - VIEW. This bundle helps us have a role to start with but with View levels only for all the permissions.

After installing this bundle, you can assign the role Admin Access - View Only to the user.

Steps to Install:

1. Log in as Administrator.

2. Navigate to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles > Type in 9311 as the keyword.

3. Click on the bundle Roles: Admin Access - VIEW > click Install.

Once installed, you can then assign the role to the users:

1. Navigate to Lists > Employees > Employees.

2. Click Edit beside the name of the Employee that you will assign this role with.

3. Click on the Access tab > Roles sublist > kindly select Admin Access - View Only. 

4. Click Save.
