When trying to merge duplicate records for Customer Records, and the user encounters an error, "Can't merge customer due to Sub-Company", but when looking at the record, there is no Sub-Customer or Sub-Company.
1. Open Customer A where there is supposedly a Sub-Company.
2. Under Relationships > Subcustomers:
a. View = Default
b. No records to show is seen.
3. Click on Customize View button.
4. Under Criteria tab, change Inactive filter description to Either, and click Set.
5. Click Save.
The Sub-Customer / Sub-Company should now be seen and you can already remove it and proceed with merging the Customer Records.
