Scenario
User needs to track bounced emails for their Marketing Campaigns. When a marketing email bounced from a recipient, the bounce message will be relayed back to NetSuite and the record is added to the statistics. Variable Envelope Return Path (VERP) works in such a way that bounced messages get sent back to the Return Path email address on the message header. The message does not get forwarded to the Reply to Address set on the marketing template.
Solution
Use a Campaign Saved Search to pull up the list of customers and the response for each campaign sent to those customers.
1. Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New
2. Click Campaign
3. Search Title: Enter Title
4. Click Criteria
5. Click Standard
6. Filter:
Note: For every required field use the drop-down menu to select it and once adjusted click Add if needed.
- Select Campaign ID
- Select Response Detail
- Response Detail: Select is any of
- Failed - delivery failure
- Failed - invalid address
- Failed - miscellaneous delivery failure
- Failed - other
- Failed - spam
7. Click Results
8. Click Columns

- Select Campaign Recipient: Name
- Select Campaign Recipient : Email
- Select Response
- Select Response Detail
10. Click Save & Run
