Expense Allocation Error: "The Allocation sources or destinations did not have any expenses associated with them for the selected period."

Received this error when Expense Allocation is run: "The Allocation sources or destinations did not have any expenses associated with them for the selected period.

It is possible that the Statistical Journal Entry has a reversal which makes the net impact zero.

1. Navigate to Transactions > Financial > Make Statistical Journal Entries > List
2. Click Edit on the Statistical Journal related to the Allocation Schedule
3. Remove the Reversal Date
4. Click Save

Then, check if the Allocation Schedule is updated.

1. Navigate to Transactions > Financial > Create Allocation Schedules > List
2. Click Edit
3. Go to Destination subtab
4. Click Update Sample Weights
   

The value of the Weight Source should show in the Balance column. Then, re-run the Expense Allocation.
